Shop Yahso Multi-Vendor Policies
1. Vendor Registration & Approval Policy
To ensure a trustworthy marketplace, all vendors must go through a registration and approval process before selling on Shop Yahso.
Vendor Registration Requirements:
- Complete the vendor application form on Shop Yahso.
- Provide a valid business registration certificate (if applicable).
- Submit tax identification number (TIN) for compliance purposes.
- Provide valid contact information, including email and phone number.
- Agree to all terms and conditions, including Shop Yahso’s marketplace policies.
Approval Process:
- Vendor applications are reviewed within 5-7 business days.
- Shop Yahso reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on internal vetting.
- Vendors must pass identity and business verification before approval.
- Once approved, vendors receive access to their seller dashboard and may begin listing products.
2. Product Listing & Quality Control Policy
To maintain quality and consistency, all vendors must follow product listing guidelines.
Listing Guidelines:
- Products must include high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and accurate pricing.
- Vendors must classify products correctly in the appropriate category.
- Prohibited items include:
- Counterfeit goods
- Illegal substances or products
- Weapons, ammunition, or hazardous materials
- Items violating intellectual property rights
- Expired or perishable goods (without proper handling)
Product Quality Assurance:
- Vendors must ensure all listed products are in stock and accurately described.
- Customers must receive the same product as described in the listing.
- Vendors must update stock availability in real-time to prevent overselling.
- Shop Yahso reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that violate policies.
3. Order Fulfillment & Shipping Policy
Vendors are responsible for ensuring timely and reliable shipping to customers.
Order Processing Requirements:
- Orders must be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
- Vendors must use approved courier services to ensure shipment tracking.
- Orders must be marked as “shipped” in the system with tracking details.
- Failure to meet fulfillment timelines may result in penalties.
Shipping Options:
- Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days.
- Express Shipping: 1-3 business days.
- Local Pickup: Available for customers to collect orders from vendor stores (if applicable).
Late Shipments & Customer Communication:
- Vendors must notify customers of shipping delays and provide estimated delivery times.
- If an order is not shipped within the required timeframe, the customer may request a cancellation and refund.
4. Payment & Commission Policy
Shop Yahso uses a commission-based model, where a percentage of each sale is deducted before vendor payouts.
Commission & Fees:
- Vendors agree to a commission fee of X% per completed sale.
- Additional fees may apply for premium placement, advertising, or promotional campaigns.
- Transaction processing fees apply to all digital payments.
Vendor Payouts:
- Payments are disbursed on a weekly/biweekly/monthly schedule.
- Funds are released after the return period expires to protect against chargebacks or disputes.
- Vendors must provide a valid bank account for direct deposits.
Refund Deductions & Penalties:
- If an order is canceled or refunded due to vendor negligence, the refund amount will be deducted from future payouts.
- Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
5. Returns, Refunds & Disputes Policy
Vendors must comply with Shop Yahso’s Return & Refund Policy to ensure customer satisfaction.
Return & Refund Guidelines:
- Customers may request returns within 14 days of delivery.
- Returns are only accepted for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Vendors must provide a return address for products that require inspection.
- Refunds must be processed within 5-10 business days of product return approval.
Dispute Resolution:
- Customers can escalate disputes if a vendor refuses to process a valid return.
- Shop Yahso acts as a mediator in disputes between vendors and customers.
- If a vendor is found in violation, penalties may include refunds, store suspensions, or permanent bans.
6. Customer Service & Communication Policy
Customer service is a top priority, and vendors must maintain professional interactions.
Customer Service Expectations:
- Vendors must respond to customer inquiries within 24-48 hours.
- Vendors must be professional and courteous in all communications.
- Failure to resolve issues or repeated complaints may impact the vendor’s rating.
- Shop Yahso reserves the right to intervene in unresolved disputes.
7. Seller Performance & Compliance Policy
To maintain a high standard, vendors must meet performance benchmarks.
Performance Metrics:
- Maintain a minimum rating of 4.0/5 based on customer reviews.
- Order cancellation rate must not exceed 5%.
- Late shipment rate must not exceed 10%.
- Return/refund rate should remain below 8%.
Compliance Reviews:
- Shop Yahso conducts monthly performance audits.
- Vendors who consistently fail to meet standards will receive a warning.
- Repeated violations may result in suspension or account termination.
8. Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy
All vendors must adhere to intellectual property laws.
Prohibited Actions:
- Selling counterfeit or unauthorized branded products.
- Using copyrighted images, descriptions, or trademarks without permission.
- Violations may lead to immediate suspension or legal action.
9. Tax & Legal Compliance Policy
Vendors must comply with local tax and business regulations.
Vendor Responsibilities:
- Vendors are responsible for reporting and remitting applicable taxes.
- Vendors must provide tax identification if required by law.
- Shop Yahso may collect and remit taxes on behalf of vendors based on regional tax laws.
10. Vendor Account Suspension & Termination Policy
Violations of Shop Yahso’s policies may result in suspension or permanent removal.
Reasons for Suspension:
- Failure to meet performance standards.
- Selling prohibited or counterfeit items.
- Fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse.
- Consistent failure to process orders or resolve disputes.
- Violating tax compliance regulations.
Appeal Process:
- Vendors may appeal suspensions within 7 business days.
- Appeals must include corrective action plans for resolving policy violations.
